A Better Way Forward.

Election Day is October 26.

Oakville is a place you chose for a reason. It is where families put down roots, where businesses grow, and where people look out for one another. Like you, I care deeply about protecting our neighbourhoods, schools, local businesses, and the everyday routines that make Oakville feel like home.

That is why I am running for Mayor of Oakville.

My plan is grounded in four commitments:

Attainable Housing

Foster collaborations with community partners, development consortiums, and non-profits to unlock land for meaningful community use.

Make Oakville’s Housing Strategy & Action Plan a top priority.

Accelerate the implementation of the Vacant Home Tax.

Protect the character of neighbourhoods through thoughtful land-use planning, meaningful public input, and development that fits and contributes to the fabric of our community

A Stronger and Safer Community

Family life: Strengthen safe neighbourhoods, expand access to daycare, and support livability and quality education for all families

Social well-being: Address key community needs including food insecurity, access to supports, homelessness, and quality seniors’ care

Environment: Build resilience to climate change through sustainability initiatives, address local noise pollution, and explore distributed energy solutions

Managing Rapid Growth

Develop a comprehensive strategy to address traffic congestion driven by rapid growth

Improve management of insufficient parking in high-density areas

Strengthen the public transit system, with a focus on first- and last-mile connectivity

Implement practical, responsible solutions that expand housing options while maintaining Oakville’s livability and inclusivity

Increased Transparency and Collaborative Decision Making at Town Hall

Introduce a public lobbyist registry to ensure transparency in how decisions are influenced

Ensure major development proposals include meaningful and genuine community consultation

Review and modernise budget structure and processes, including assessment and evaluation tools and stronger spending controls

Implement a renewed focus on transparency, accessibility, and public engagement
