Midtown Community Update by We Love Oakville Suggests Looming Crisis

On September 22, 2025 Oakville’s Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) informed Oavkille Town Council that it should expect an updated version of the Province’s Transit-Oriented Community (TOC).  When questioned, the CAO stated the new version will strongly resemble the original.  The very next day, a meeting was announced for October 7, where Infrastructure Ontario would present “a detailed update” to the Local Advisory Group. 

The above caption is from an community group called “We Love Oakville”. This group has volunteered their time and effort to compile valuable research on the impacts of the proposed development in the Oakville Midtown core.

Decisions being made regarding the Midtown growth will not only impact the residents in the Midtown core, but all future decisions on Oakville’s growth areas .
