The Town of Oakville is proposing a 3.5% property tax increase, and is seeking public input on the draft 2926 budget.

This is a great opportunity for your voice to be heard on the cost of living in Oakville, what a property tax increase could look like and the impact for you.

Residents can share their feedback on the proposed 2026 Town of Oakville budget by contacting the Mayor or their local Councillors, and/or submitting comments by email to budget@oakville.ca.

The town also listed "key dates" that pertain to planning the 2026 budget:

Oct 24 – Nov 26: Public consultation

Nov 5: Public Open House, Town Hall, 7 p.m.

Nov 11 & 13: Public delegations at Budget Committee

Nov 27: Committee recommendations to Mayor

Dec 4: Mayor proposes final budget

Dec 11 & 15: Public input and Council review
